How many tablets should I give my dog?Updated 3 years ago

The Daily Portion Guide for Jointsure is based on the weight of your dog. Check out the 'Serving guide' section of each product to know exactly how much to give.

We recommend that if giving more than 1 tablet per day you should spread the tablets out over the day – for instance, if your dog needs 3 tablets per day, you would give one in the morning, one at lunchtime and the third in the evening.

Our recommended daily serving is based on the dog's weight:

  • Small Dogs (Up to 15kg) - 1 tablet
  • Medium Dogs (16-30kg) - 2 tablets
  • Large Dogs (31-45kg) - 3 tablets
  • Very Large Dogs (Over 45kg) - 4 tablets

TOP TIP

A good tip to find out how much your dog weighs – especially if your dog is reluctant to stand on a set of scales by itself – would be to weigh yourself on the scales, making a note of the weight, and then to pick up your dog and then re-weigh, again noting the new combined weight. It is then a simple case of subtracting the first weight from the second to give you the weight of your dog.
